Influenced by Idols

We are all influenced, often by idols. An idol is anything created that takes 1st place before the Creator. Throughout this series we will focus on the idols of technology, education and your closest friends. These Idols are not inherently evil, but when created things are tainted by sin and used too much, not enough of, or in the wrong way the consequences are catastrophic. We will look primarily reflect on the story of the Exodus, especially Israel’s response when given the 10 Commandments, and our mirroring of the Israelites response. We will be challenged to influence others to live in and share the truth of the Triune God according to His Word.
